The SoundSpot SA-2 MKII is redefining industry standards, offering breathtaking audiophile performance from a discrete and attractive speaker. The SA-2 MKII, winner of CEA’S Innovations Award, combines a 4” (100mm) mid/bass unit with a soft-dome tweeter, each one housed in its own steel sphere. The units are carefully aligned for phase and time coherence, for precise imaging, and for delivering integrated, lifelike sound.

The units are based on Morel’s External Voice Coil (EVC) design, in which an aluminum Hexatech coil surrounds an extremely powerful magnet motor to achieve high efficiency and distortion free sound. The mid/bass unit’s motor is rear vented, allowing strong air circulation that cools the voice coil which enables high power handling. Its damped polymer composite cone is constructed (surround and center cap) of one single piece for linearity and precision.

The tweeter is characterized by an extended frequency range, all the way down to the midrange band, attaining outstanding tonal quality. The crossover is made of first-class components, hardwired for high integrity.
